Overview
Adyar Star Aayush (“we”, “us”) operates an application for managing salon and spa operations — appointments, billing, staff, and attendance. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, phone number, email, and role.
- Business records you enter: clients, appointments, bills, payments, services, packages, and staff details.
- Attendance data: check-in / check-out times and work hours.
- Approximate location at the time of an attendance punch, to confirm presence at the branch.
- Face data used only for attendance verification (see below).
- Device and log information needed to operate the service.
Face / biometric data
For attendance, the app may capture a photo and compute a numeric face template (“descriptor”) used only to verify a staff member’s identity at check-in / check-out. This data is used solely for attendance verification, is not sold or shared for advertising, and is stored securely. Staff may request removal of their face data by contacting us at support@adayarstaraayush.com.
How we use information
To provide and operate the service, schedule appointments, generate bills and GST records, manage staff and attendance, secure accounts, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app (for example, payment processing and hosting), and where required by law. These providers are bound to protect your data.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting requirements. You may request deletion (see “Your rights”).
Your rights & account deletion
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, including your account. To delete your account and associated data, visit [DELETE_URL] or contact us at support@adayarstaraayush.com. Upon deletion, we remove your account profile and personal data, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (for example, GST invoice records), kept only as long as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Children
The app is intended for business use by salon/spa staff and management and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
